EA Sports Desperation To Break Even On Steamer Of The Year NSR Resorts To Bundling It With New PCs, Performance Problems Being Reported. Whos Suprised

A NASCAR fan may want to experience racing from a virtual cockpit: We were able to play the included EA Sports' NASCAR SimRacing demo (set to 800-by-600 and the low-detail default setting) at a playable frame rate. The NASCAR PC comes with a limited demo version of the game. When we installed our own full copy of NASCAR SimRacing, we found that you can have a good experience playing the game as long as you keep the graphics settings reasonably modest. When we turned on all the detail, such as lighting, shadowing, car detail (which makes the cars look more lifelike), terrain detail (which adds to the stuff surrounding the track—grandstands, spectators, and track advertisements), the system started to slow down and the game frames showed some jerkiness.

Pretty fucking sad, when the "NASCAR PC" can't even play the "most realistic sim to date" without jerkiness.

Will these "jerk offs" ever quit and admit defeat? I doubt it.

I wonder if this will be as successfull as the "citgo" demo / AOL partnership....as I'm sure their was over 100,000 NSR demos in my county alone and look how well they helped drive those monsterous sales up to 47,000. What a pile of shit.

I order to get any fucking dumber you would have to gain weight.
