As everyone knows, EA once again cranked up their marketing machine again to provide suckers (er..um CUSTOMERS) with the news that Madden 2007 is now in stores. So with that being said, we'd be more than happy to take a step aside from the Nascar Shit Racing sim they delivered dead out of the box and left further for dead by the silence that remains. But enough about beating that dead hunk of shit.
Preliminary feedback once again comes from 2 different camps. EA and Wall Street are very happy and quick to announce that over 2 million units have already been sold and has eclipsed the 100 million in revenue mark. This represents the best week 1 performance in the history of the franchise title. Very impressive indeed, and no matter how many people seem to bitch about EA, they still ask Mommy and Daddy to open their wallets for them. So EA boycotts are not going to work with the kiddie set, but in time this title should cool real quick.
No matter what EA and Wall St. try to blow up our asses with sales results, EA stock is still performing less than respectably. Here's what the new customers have to say so far:
Is there a way to get a patch, EA? You left out a big part of the game which is to be able edit players (i. e. numbers, ratings, things of that nature)? Madden for the next-gen so far to me is a big disappointment!!! WTF????!!!
All i want is 4 somebody to tell me WHY!!! there is no fantasy draft in franchise mode for the 360! All i play is franchise mode in every madden game. The whole reason i bought the game was 4 the new rosters and franchise mode! Thats rediculous that they try to improve more on graphics than anything else. Im telling all of my friends not to buy this game for 360 just because it is the worst madden game ever made!!!!!!!!!!!
This game was shipped with a huge bug and I think it is ridiculous. There is a bug when you pause the game the menu sticks after the game has been unpaused and the cursor is still on the menu. Therefore, you have to negotiate your way thru the pause menu and the play picking menu at the same time. As well as the menu blocking the entire left side of the screen during play. This is a huge disappointment to me. How can a game with as big of a consumer base as Madden football be released with a bug like that? It is happening to me in all 3 online games I have played so far on xbl. And, it has happened to my friend in 2 games. You guys need to get a patch out already and it is only release day.

Attention EA Sports employees. I would love to hear an explaination on W H Y you left the edit rosters option off of the 360 version? This is the definition of sporting games blasphemy, and is by far one of the most popular features of past Maddens. It was the first thing I attempted to do as soon as I put the game into my 360 console, and I was pissed off something serious only to find out that I can't edit player ratings, positions, etc, etc, etc. I pray to God that you guys make a patch that allows us to do so, or else you pretty much wasted an entire year making this game for nothing. There are players in this game that are horribly overrated/underrated, and then there are freaking rookies in the FA pool that are going to be starting in the NFL, or at least 2'nd/3'rd string at the minimum. Please give me some type of feedback as to why EA Sports fumbled the ball this year.
this game is crap...plain and simple....no fantasy draft? how many die hard madden players only buy the game to draft your own team and build it to be a dominating squad? thats to bad i wasted $60, atleast my 30 friends that were gonna buy xbox 360's and madden won't buy neither now....i'm hoping i can bring my madden back and trade it for the ps2 version.
I have experienced a glitch while trying to saving in Superstar mode that corrupts your memory card and renders it useless. Some searching around the internet has led me to found that I am not the only one with this issue (and if there is another post on this message board about it, I apologize, but I didn't find it)
I want to know what EA is going to do to fix this problem, and I do not want to buy another $30 memory card. same thing happened to me man, pretty much fried my memory card, everything was deleted. Of course had to go out and buy a new card. Though if this is a problem a lot of people are having then EA should refund us somehow.
Oh no, say it ain't so EA. Yet another game that was hyped to death and forced to ship with bugs before the start of a new season?
